Order Modifications and Change Orders

Change Order Fee: A 5% fee will be applied to any order modifications requested before production begins (WITHIN 24 HOURS), as all items are made to order.
No Changes After Production Starts: Once an order enters production, changes—including size adjustments or address modifications—cannot be made.
Review Carefully Before Purchase: Please double-check size charts and all details before completing your order.

Order Cancellations

Cancellation Fee: A 10% cancellation fee will be applied to any order canceled before production begins (WITHIN 24 HOURS), as all items are custom-made.
No Cancellations After Production Starts: Orders already in production or shipped cannot be canceled.
Address Errors: If you provided the wrong address and your order hasn't entered production yet, we can cancel your order, subject to the cancellation fee.

Shipping Terms

Shipping Timeframe: Orders typically ship within 6–8 business days.
Custom Production: Shipping may take longer because each item is meticulously crafted to order, enabling us to offer competitive pricing and maintain quality.
Shipping Refunds: Shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments: TONES OF MELANIN™ is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns Process: Initiate a return easily via our Returns Portal:

Return Window: Items can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Refund Method: Returns are processed as store credit in the form of a TONES OF MELANIN™ gift card within 5–7 business days after receipt of the returned item(s).
Damages or Defects: If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately for assistance.
No Exchanges: Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, we do not facilitate exchanges.
Store Credit Only: Refunds are issued as store credit. Cash or credit refunds are not provided.

FAQs

Can I change the size of my order after it's placed?
Changes can only be made before production begins and are subject to a 5% change order fee. Once an order enters production, size changes or address modifications cannot be made. Please ensure all details are correct before placing your order.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping takes 6–8 business days.
Why does shipping take so long?
Every item is made to order, enabling us to offer competitive pricing and maintain quality.
Can I return or exchange a wrong-sized item?
We do not process exchanges. However, you can return the item and receive store credit to reorder.
I forgot to apply my coupon code; can it be added later?
No. Coupon codes cannot be applied to orders after payment is processed. You can use the coupon code on your next order.
What if my order doesn’t arrive within three weeks?
Contact us if your order has not arrived within three weeks. Buyers assume responsibility for international duties and customs fees.

Order Cancellations Due to Conduct: TONES OF MELANIN™ reserves the right to cancel and refund orders if inappropriate or hostile behavior is exhibited by the customer. Standard cancellation policies and fees apply.
Right to Deny Service: TONES OF MELANIN™ reserves the right to deny service to any customer.
